Located on Hobarts Eastern shore in the popular suburb of Lindisfarne. with spectacular views of Mt Wellington, Derwent Bridge and River , 6 kilometers from the City center and the famous Salamanca markets, and 15 minutes from the Airport.

The Space

This Family home is perfect for large family or group that want to spend time together and or apart at the same time with room for everyone. Set back in the middle of one of Hobart’s popular Eastern Shore suburbs . Offering a spacious open plan living, with a lounge room and ample accommodation for all.
Downstairs living area has a spacious lounge and dining area with comfy lounge and large smart television, dining suite and wood fire for the winter months. From the lounge you have access to a small private deck taking advantage of the pleasant views of the river and bridge. The kitchen has ample storage and bench space and is fitted with all the modern appliance and along with the a large breakfast bar.
A hallway leads to a laundry with washing machine and dryer, next to the laundry is the family bathroom which is neatly presented and boasts a bathtub, vanity, shower, and a separate toilet. There are two bedrooms downstairs a queen ensemble in one and a another with a King size Bed that splits into two singles (please let hosts know which combination you require at time of booking) both bedrooms have built in robes. Also, downstairs is a games room with a PS4 console and games.
Upstairs are another three bedrooms all with Queen ensembles and built-in robes. The main bedroom has a ensuite and walk in robe, as well as a small patio to take in the view. Also, upstairs is a small a study /office for the one who must work during the holiday!
The secure yard is easily accessed with established trees and gardens, there is hammock, as well as a uncover entertainment area with tables and chairs and of course BBQ.
There is off-street parking for two cars, and plenty of free on street parking. Without doubt you will feel at home, and always be welcomed back.

This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.

Other things to note

We have had to implement the following policy due to a number of recent guests disregarding our house rules and creating unacceptable levels of noise at the house, causing a disturbance to our neighbours.
Our home is situated in a quiet residential area. Guests should not create noise that could disturb our neighbours at any time during their stay.
We have implemented a strict Quiet Time between 10pm and 8am where there is to be no noise on the decks or outdoor areas.
In addition, there should be no excessive noise on the decks and outside areas at any time during your stay and noise inside the house should be at a level so as not to be heard from neighbouring properties.
The house is for accommodation only and is not suitable for parties, gatherings or functions of any kind. There is to be no more than 2 visitors to the house without our prior written consent.
If you do not feel that you can abide by these rules DO NOT book this house. If you do book the house and disregard these rules our neighbours will let us know. You will be asked to vacate the property immediately and may lose your booking fee and deposit.
If you can abide by these rules than “The View” may be the perfect holiday home for you.
