1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Stay in Hobart (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
• Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. How to Enter
To be entered into the draw, participants must:

1. Comment on the official giveaway post on Facebook with the state or territory they reside in; and
2. Tag a friend in the same comment.
   Only entries that complete all requirements will be considered valid.

4. Prize Details

• There are two (2) Tasmania gift hampers to be won.
• Each hamper is valued at up to AUD $200.
• The same individual cannot win both prizes. If a winner is drawn twice, a redraw will be conducted for the second prize.
• Prizes are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

5. Competition Period

• The opening and closing dates will be stated on the giveaway post.
• The Promoter reserves the right to end the competition early or extend it for any reason, at its discretion.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be drawn at random from valid entries after the competition closes (or earlier if the competition is ended early).
• Winners will be notified via Facebook.
• If a winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

7. Changes to the Prize
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute or replace the prize or any part of it with an item of equal or greater value at any time, without notice.

8. Verification

• The Promoter may request proof of residency or identity before awarding the prize.
• If requested verification is not provided, the entry may be deemed invalid.

9. Liability and Responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, cost, or claim arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prize.
• The Promoter accepts no liability for technical issues, lost entries, miscommunication, delays, or errors beyond its control.
• The Promoter is not liable for any failure of Facebook or related systems.
• The Promoter is not responsible for any issues with the delivered gift hamper, including delivery delays, quality issues, or misuse.

10. Facebook Disclaimer
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, you release Facebook from all responsibility in relation to the competition.

11. Privacy

• By entering, participants consent to the Promoter using their Facebook username and comment for the purpose of administering the competition and announcing winners.
• No other personal information will be collected beyond what is necessary for prize distribution.

12. Right to Disqualify
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:

• provides false information,
• fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, or
• engages in any conduct that is fraudulent, misleading, or harmful.

13. Final Decisions
The Promoter’s decisions regarding all aspects of the competition—including eligibility, winners, prize distribution, amendments, or cancellations—are final and binding.
